Monthly Markets
Following on from their successful launch in 2023 we are extremely excited to be growing and expanding both of our regular markets. Applications for both are now open.
Christchurch Park Market
We have an exclusive partnership in place with Ipswich Borough Council to hold Farmers & Craft Market at the hugely popular Christchurch Park in the middle of the town. This market has been so well received by the local community that we will now be running twice per month on the second and fourth Sunday’s from March to September with an extended trading time to 3pm.
Traders can choose to have a regular or guest pitch. Unloading is next to your pitch and we have a designated free parking area available for stallholders within the park. Electricity hook-up is also bookable.
The park boasts beautiful surroundings, with ponds, wildlife walks, and the historical Christchurch Mansion (with free entry and paintings from Monet, Turner and Constable on display) as our backdrop that attracts a strong footfall to the area.
The park is surrounded by a large residential population that have been incredibly supportive of the market and the Junior Park Run also takes place on Sunday mornings.
Marks Tey Market
Marks Tey Market is now running from March to October and at a slightly later time of 10am-2pm on the fourth Saturday of each month.
We have both indoor and outdoor pitches available and ample free car parking.
Indoor pitches are situated in the Main Hall and tables can be borrowed from us (on selected months, please check the booking form for details). Outdoor stalls are located in the pretty garden area at the rear of the hall where there are also picnic benches, and a children’s play area.
Feedback from traders has been good and footfall is increasing steadily. The local community have really embraced the market and we see lots of regular attendees who return month after month plus Marks Tey Parish Hall is in a great location, with high visibility from the road, which also attracts passing trade.
We have had requests from attendees for more food stalls so if you are an artisan producer we are eager to hear from you.

Ipswich Music Day Market Zone
We have been asked by Ipswich Borough Council to take over a section of Christchurch Park at Ipswich Music Day to create a brand new market zone for the event this year.
Taking place on Sunday 7th July 12pm-8pm Ipswich Music Day is the largest free one-day music festival in the UK and is a brilliant celebration of music, culture and local talent. There will be six stages of live entertainment and music from local upcoming artists, fairground rides, street food, and retail stalls.
Our market zone will be located between the main pathway and the popular BBC Suffolk stage so we are expecting a great footfall.
We welcome applications from artisan food producers (must be packaged for consumption off-site), high quality craft stalls and small businesses who want to join us at this fun and vibrant event.
Due to the council’s existing contracts we are unable to accept bookings for catering/bar/coffee vendors for on-site consumption.
Suffolk County Christmas Fair 2024
Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th November
Marketed as ‘the ultimate Christmas shopping experience in Suffolk’ this three day event attracted approx. 10,000 eager shoppers in 2023.
The wonderful Hintlesham Hall will be our home for the Suffolk County Christmas Fair for the second year running on 22nd – 24th November and we can’t wait to be back as the grounds look truly spectacular at Christmas time, lit up with an abundance of twinkling lights and decorated to perfection.
We have space for approx. 120 shopping stalls situated inside heated Shopping Marquees as well as outside in the grounds. This year we will also be adding hard-standing flooring to all marquees to make the shopping experience even better.
There are undercover seating areas for shoppers to enjoy the live music acts at the bandstand, selfies with Santa, stilt walkers & more.
This really is the most magical Christmas event and we are looking for the best stallholders to join us. Our focus is on high quality products from a diverse and interesting range of stalls. All applications are carefully considered with this in mind. Whilst the majority of our stalls showcase local, hand-crafted items this is not an exclusively handmade fair.
